7. The ferrule allows you to make the blades feathered or unfeathered. Feathered blades are blades that are not parallel to each other, but rather at an angle (generally 30° or 45°). This makes the blades more efficient as they cut through the wind, but it also makes them trickier for beginners. A good thing to know is that feathered blades are not recommended if you have joint problems or pain in your wrists, because it puts extra strain on your control hand.
8. A spoon blade has more power but is trickier for beginners, because it will flutter if your technique is not perfect. If you are a beginner, the only reason to choose a spoon blade would be because you are determined to perfecting your kayaking strokes and are willing to suffer in the process.

1. Is ZJ carbon kayak  paddle blade strong enough for Paddling?

Absolutely Yes, ZJ kayak paddle blades are all reinforced with extra layers of carbon fiber on the central position, and all the ZJ carbon kayak paddle blade edge is reinforced with extra carbon fiber and kevlar filament.

2.What's the difference in thecarbon kayak paddle blade finish between ZJ Kayak Paddle Blade and other factory's blades?

All the ZJ Kayak Paddle blades are hand lay-up, one step forming, the blade is completely finished after shaping once taking out of the mold, without any paint spraying process in ZJ Paddle blade production process.

At other factory, normally the paddle blade is with PU foam and the blade defects are covered by paint spraying process, the new paddle is good looking, however, after paddling several times, the problem and defects will come out.

By the way, the paint spraying process create much harmful substances to the living environment.

The carbon shafts are Prepreg autoclave-cured at high temperature and pressure for maximum strength and durability, with a 10cm length extend.  Two blades are at both ends of the shaft, the scooped blade help dig deeper in the water and hold more water. 

Production ability:  about 10 pcs paddle blade per day.

MOQ:  5 pcs. Mixed paddle style is acceptable, we suggest ordering 15 pcs (1 carton) for saving freight cost.
